Moments of Silence

The body cannot survive without the mind. The nature of the mind is to attach itself from one object (thought) to another. The thoughts thrive on attention. In meditation, the thoughts are allowed to pass through the mind, with loving kindness and non- attachment. When we don’t nourish the thoughts with energy, they gradually slow down and with regular practice it IS possible to have moments of silence or stillness.

Just sharing my observations.

Stillness

The method of Meditation is highly individualized. What suits one person may not suit another, even if it has helped the former to attain Enlightenment. Always listen to the inner guidance. Whether we sit in Padmasana (Lotus), Vajrasana (Diamond) or in a chair, it really does not matter. What is important is to sit still and become a Witness, not getting attached to the thoughts passing through. Even a few moments of “stillness of the mind” is a beautiful experience, pointing us the way towards Eternal Happiness.

Just my experience.

The inner sanctuary

The more I withdraw into my inner sanctuary
of Love, Joy and Peace,
The more I dwell in Gratitude,
calmer and more beautiful the world becomes.
I am the creator of my reality.
